                           POLAR BEARS

Appearance
Polar bears have 42 teeth and although they have white fur under that they have black skin that keeps them comfortable. Male polar bears can weigh up to 680 kilograms but baby polar bears are only the size of a rat.

Habitat
Polar bears live in the cold places of the Arctic, America, Canada and Denmark. They mostly live in the water but their fur keeps them warm.

Diet
Polar bears are carnivores. That means they eat meat. Polar bears eat seals that they hunt from the ocean. Polar bears spend most of their time in the water swimming because they hunt a lot. Polar bears can detect seals from nearly a mile away.

Predators
Polar bears only predators are humans and man-made pollution can also lead to death. The reason polar bears only have one predator is because they are the largest carnivores that live on the Arctic land.
